Parents usually come after they have already tried patience, scolding, and tuition. The child is angry, silent, afraid of school, not sleeping, or not the child they know. Counseling for a child starts by taking that change seriously, without turning the child into a case.
Parents stay in the work
A child is not sent in alone and collected later like a repaired appliance. The parent is part of the conversation. The language stays simple. School, friends, the house, and the body are all allowed into the room. So is fear, which children often describe as a stomach ache or a refusal.
An hourly consultation is a sound first step if you only have a question: is this a phase, or do we need a series? If the school morning has been a fight for months, ask for a full counseling session. If you are writing from Pune or another town, say whether you can travel to Jalgaon.
